Who is the course designed for?
Life, health, critical illness, LTC and disability underwriters. The IE program is designed for individuals with two years or less of underwriting experience.
In what format are the courses presented?
The courses are made available as PDF documents.
Is the self-exam answer key included in the individual course or available separately?
We make it available both ways. You can download the course and answer key as separate files in order to administer and track student completion or you can download the "Complete Course" which includes both in one document.
Upon registration, a designated contact person at your company is given a password and can then download the courses.
Yes. Please fill out Request Sample Form, and we will send you a sample IE course (via email) within 24 hours.
How much does annual IE enrollment cost?
Enrollment in the IE Program is by company. The cost varies by year and is as follows:
2008: $4000 per company
2007: $4000/c
2006: $3000/c
2005: $3000/c

Yes. You can enroll in any year of courses. Please visit our course descriptions to see course content from previous years.
Can I purchase individual courses rather than enroll for an entire year?
Initial Education courses cannot be purchased individually.
